Cottage Situation

A homely 3 bedroomed cottage situated in peaceful elevated countryside hamlet (430 mtrs above sea level). Country walks and bike rides as soon as you step out of the door with brown limousin cattle grazing in nearby fields and stream running at the back of the hamlet.

Even though in a quiet location it's only 7 mins drive to Bourganeuf, a historic town with cafes, restaurants, supermarket & weekly market.
Also golf course on edge of town.
The nearest hamlet - St Dizier Leyrenne is only 2 minutes drive away where you can get milk, bread and other provisions.

Off road parking in front of cottage for up to 3 cars.

Inside / Outside the Cottage

Step through the front door into an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchenette.

The lounge has a woodburner (for winter use) There is a t.v. with english satelite channels also dvd player and a cd player. There are a small selection of dvd's and cd's for holidaymakers to use.

At the back of the cottage is the dining area with extendable wooden table adjacent to the kitchenette which has a gas oven and hob, fridge with small freezer box, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, crockery & utensils for up to 8 people.
Double french doors lead out to the secluded sunny south facing garden.
There is a garden table, chairs and parasol for eating al fresco, 3 sunloungers with cushions for you to relax, 2 BBQS (gas & charcoal), various sports equipment inc french boules, badminton racquets, racquet ball, 3 adults bikes & 1 childs bike (up to 9 years).



1st Floor - views over surrounding countryside from both bedrooms.
1 Double Bedroom to front of house with wardrobe, large chest of drawers and bedside table and stool.
1 Double Bedroom to back of house with wardrobe, large chest and bedside table.
Small bathroom with w.c. wash basin and french bath with shower over.

2nd Floor
1 Twin Bedroom (Attic Room) with 2 single beds, wardrobe, chest etc.

Things to Do

The best of both worlds, either relax and unwind or jump in the car and visit an array of historic villages, public gardens & chateaux & churches, many have publicated guides showing several places of interest for you to make the most of your visit.

Limoges - capital of the limousin is only 40 mins away, also
Gueret - capital of the creuse is 30 mins away. Both have plenty of shops, restaurants, places of interest etc.
The large lake at Vassiviere is only 35/40 mins away with boat trips, restaurants, play areas/climbing activity centre, watersports to hire.
