Facilities

This Trinity Beach holiday house has all the usual facilities provided in a holiday house, but we've added the extras to make sure your holiday is relaxing, enjoyable and comfortable!

A luxury 11 jet spa bath (no basic 4 jet spa bath here), with tea light candles, essential oils and egyptian cotton bathrobes... so you can have as many relaxing aromatherapy spa treatments as you wish!

Books and magazines to spend time reading in the holiday house's peaceful gardens while you listen to the birds! DVDs, videos and board games for a quiet night in, or to distract the kids! Pool noodle chairs so you can float around the pool with cocktail in hand... and floating flower candles for extra atmosphere at night!

That's in this Trinity Beach holiday house. Only 1 block away (5 minute walk) is the beachfront pub (and bottleshop), bars and restaurants, main bus stop where the tour buses pick up from, beachfront bbqs and children's playground.

Trinity Beach is only a 15 minute drive from Cairns international and domestic airports, and 20 minutes from Cairns city centre. There are taxis and shuttle services available from the airports to take you to and from your accommodation. Hire cars can also be arranged at the airport. The Trinity Beach bus stop into town or the other beaches is just around the corner (where the tour buses stop for Great Barrier Reef, rainforest and adventure tours).

There are a number of golf/country clubs in the vicinity and sailing clubs. In Trinity Beach you can also play tennis or try your hand at barefoot bowls! Trinity Beach has its own supermarket, butcher, newsagent, post office, medical services, gym, bottle shop, hairdressers, clothing shops, bakery, takeaway shops, etc, and only 5 minutes away there are larger shopping centres if you need more variety.

ATTRACTIONS

Cairns has a casino (with a rooftop dome wildlife attraction), excellent shopping, art galleries, a museum, theatre, cinemas, wildlife parks, aboriginal cultural park, cable car, national parks, and the Great Barrier Reef, a multitude of islands and adventure activities (cable skiing, jungle swing, bungy jumping, white water rafting, skydiving, ATV's, paragliding, sea kayaking - the list is endless - how long did you say you were staying?).

Taking a drive up north, you can visit Port Douglas (about 40 minutes), the world heritage listed Daintree National Park, Cape Tribulation and perhaps you might want to take a cruise to check out the crocodiles and other wildlife (snakes and all!) that inhabit the Daintree River.

To the west you can visit the Atherton Tablelands, the crater lakes (yes, they were volcanoes), waterfalls and rainforest retreats.

That is, of course, if you want to venture out, you may just wish to while away your days on the beach, using the bbqs available for the public, sampling the cuisine in the beachfront restaurants or sipping on a drink or two in the pub or bar at Trinity Beach. It’s a very special place to be at full moon, absolutely stunning! (What a great romantic getaway idea!)

A great choice for a holiday, perfect for corporate clientele, and a delightful base for people seeking short-term accommodation while they are looking for a property to purchase or stay in the long-term.

What a nice place to vacation. This house has it all and then some. Leave your worries behind and relax. The weather could have been nicer but can't blame that on anything but the time of year. [Owner note: this is actually the best time of year for the tropical north but unfortunately this family had some bad luck with the weather!]

Nice owner answers ANY question, always there to help and with a kind answer. Great, clean house with good temperature and a good look to it, all makes you wish your plane didn't leave so soon.

Tropical Oasis indeed! Arrived at this place very early in the morning way before designated check in time, the owner was willing to let us check in and met us at the house. Upon entering, we were met with a very well maintained, beautiful house. The little details she had gone out of her way to include in the house made our entire family wish we could just move in and stay forever. The location is great, close to the beach, a few pubs and the local grocery store. Is near a bus line if you don't have a car, and well outside of the hustle and bustle of Cairns. Which you may or may not want to visit, considering the house itself is private, fully furnished with internet, tv and plenty of seating spaces outdoors to enjoy the Cairns sunshine, (which we had very little of, but KNOW that if the homeowner could have changed this, she would have!) I'd recommend this to my friends and steer my enemies elsewhere! All in all it was one of the highlights of our six week visit in Australia.

Just to say how much Ann and I enjoyed our stay at your house at Trinity Beach this month. It turned out to be a perfect holiday, with good weather, great location and superb accommodation!
